Job Summary

Responsible for the successful completion of Network Fulfilment, Release Management, Process Improvement and driving Continual Service Improvement. Establishing technical process improvements and assisting in the Service Strategy, Design and Transition lifecycle stages. Responsible for integration with all business systems and applications. Responsible for Network Fulfilment and technical process improvement ensuring the customer is at the forefront of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Fiber Survey & Planning: Conduct site surveys for FTTH/FTTX deployments, perform physical walkouts, document footage, identify utility poles/manholes, and prepare low-level design sketches

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform, analyze, and troubleshoot P2P and GPON faults using OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer), LSPM (Light Source and Power Meter), and VFL (Visual Fault Locator)

• Splicing & Installation: Supervise/Perform high-quality fusion splicing of loose tube and ribbon fiber optic cables, build splice closures, and manage cable management in splice trays

• Civil Works Oversight: Supervise fiber civil work including trenching, manhole construction, conduit laying, and aerial fiber cable placement, replacement and underground relocation

• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare as-built drawings, splice-MST reports, and daily progress reports. Ensure all field data is accurate and uploaded to project management tools

• Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 on-call support for emergency fiber restoration (fiber breaks)

• Perform quality acceptance of lastmile, metro and backhaul fiber builds
