Job Summary: Assists in managing and directing the team, drives strategies to improve business processes. Coaches and mentors all NSD Engineers acting as the senior figure and leader within the team.
Advises, coaches and guides on Network Service fulfillment for quote to cash transactional tickets for all network and datacenter products (Interconnections, IX, ECX etc.)
Perform complex business systems requirement analysis work working with operation functions in the areas like quoting, ordering, order fulfillment, system provisioning and production issue support
Reviews the metrics, improves the efficiency of the fulfillment (per customer and per transaction), and presents the data to cross-functional teams to improve the effectiveness and quality of our products
Determines and applies appropriate methodologies and tools for analyzing a range of complex, functional and/or cross-functional issues (often complex or with a high level of ambiguity)
Provides recommendations that consider the needs of cross functional teams
Proactively Identifies process gaps/issues and recommends areas for improvement
Assesses impact of manual workarounds using time/motion studies
Determines and utilizes appropriate methodology including Lean Six Sigma where appropriate
Facilitates discussions and drives resolution where disagreement exists, escalating where necessary
Obtains, creates and documents business requirements engaging multiple stakeholders
Creates BRD (business requirements document), managing cross-functional and cross-regional reviews
Works with the BSA's and Dev team on solution design and development
Assesses solutions from multiple angles, recommending alternatives where appropriate
Reviews functional design, working closely with BSAs and DEV teams to ensure solution meets requirements
Partners with stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and across functional areas
Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodology; may design or improve business processes
Facilitates workshops to drive agreement where appropriate
Assists in performing user acceptance testing (UAT)
Responsible for ensuring UAT is fully planned and executed
Assesses testing progress
Manages process and procedural documentation
Completes post deployment analysis, monitoring and control, providing recommendations for improvement
Assesses post project benefits and success
Builds training material and deliver training
Creates, manages, and leads larger project plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniques
Drives alignment with stakeholders from problem identification through implementation and post-implementation monitoring
Communicates team progress
Creates scope, project charter and stakeholder analysis
Applies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six Sigma
Identifies and manages risks and issues, recommending suitable mitigation plans
Reporting and Metrics
Leads status reporting, highlighting risks, issues and concerns
Makes recommendations for improvement based on report results
Creates and publishes more complex dashboards
Champions changes to enable customer benefits
Assesses priority based on fit to agreed organizational criteria
Supports in driving consistency and alignment across different functional teams
Recommends alternative solutions, escalating where disagreements persist
Leads and facilitates cross functional discussions to drive issues, challenges and prioritization efforts
Updates CSI and Issues logs ensuring the relevant detail is provided
Is a CSI advocate, pro-actively driving CSI opportunities through to completion
Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent Experience in Business systems, Engineering
Agile development methodologies
5+ years experience
PRINCE2 Foundation Certification/Six Sigma Yellow Belt (Or Relevant Experience)
ITIL Foundation Certification
Networking certification CCNA/CCNP,/JNCP is a plus
