Job Summary
Our team, the Network Architecture team, is seeking a Network Development Intern to support the development of our Next Gen Equinix products and solutions. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on building automation, tooling, and reporting systems that will contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge network hardware technologies.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with software developers and computer science majors to design and develop automation tools and reporting systems.
Gain a hybrid experience in networking and software development by working on projects that involve API integration, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Contribute to the development of automation tools and reporting systems that support the testing and deployment of network devices.
Gain hands-on experience with routing protocols, MPLS, stress testing, and reporting on network performance.
Work in a lab environment to automate device testing and traffic generation.
Collaborate with the team to ensure the successful implementation of projects related to distributed systems and public cloud environments (AWS)
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, either as a rising senior or a master's student.
Pursuing a degree in software development, computer science, or a related field.
Knowledge of backend and/or frontend and interest in AI
Knowledge of CICD pipeline
Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, C, and Python.
Knowledge of API integration, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Experience with distributed systems and public cloud environments (AWS) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Available to work full-time for the duration of the internship program (between May to August)
Open to working in either Dallas or Toronto.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
