Reporting to the Director of Global Sales Operations for the Technical Sales Team, your primary task will be to produce thoughtful and scalable insights into the business that our leaders can use to work towards their goals. You will work with all cross functional groups in Sales Operations, including reporting, compensation, planning and systems as well as collaborate with Equinix team members at all levels of the organization.
You are an analytical rock-star that can balance operations with strategy and planning and is not afraid to ask difficult questions and seek the answers for them. Someone that knows how to apply the hypothesis-driven approach to solving problems and also able to analyze large quantities of data, derive informative recommendations and expertly present to our senior leadership team. You are motivated and a phenomenal teammate but have the ability to work alone.
Establish a thoughtful partnership with key stakeholders including technical sales leadership, regional and corporate marketing and global Sales Operations counterparts
Partner with directors and VPs across the globe to define and communicate vision for analytics and analytics priorities, ensuring alignment with business unit priorities and IT's dedication Data Definitions & Integrity
Confirm data definitions with key collaborators (including global and regional functional leads, Finance, IT and other functions)
Collaborate across the Sales Operations organization to fix identified data integrity and inconsistency issues
Identify tools for an automated analytics platform
Partner with business unit SME's to determine data requirements/constraints, Information Technology for support and resources and Internal Communications for roll out of tools and updates
May supervise executive level reports such as quarterly results
Discover and drive new solutions and improvements across the technical sales platforms, tools, and processes to continue at velocity
Mine data for patterns, relationships, issues and consistency on a regular basis
Assist with quotas for different roles within the Global Technical Sales Team
Assist with refining efficient force deployment model that supports our go to market motions in different regions of the world
Work with collaborators to provide data and insights that enable concrete plans for our technical team members
Coordinate with offshore resources to compile, maintain and continuously update relevant metrics
Build relationships and partners with stakeholders (i.e. IT, Finance, business leaders) to understand requests, make recommendations and implement solutions
Bring value to each ask and provide thought leadership on how to develop and use analytics capability
Required Traits & Skills

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong analytical skills including Excel modelling
Proficient in data visualization, including Tableau workbook design
Experience with SFDC
Extensive experience in sales analytics, planning, operations or FP&A
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Data Science, or relevant field preferred
“Over the top”
Experience with Anaplan and/or Incent
Management consulting experience
