Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart, enthusiastic, and creative thought leader with a solid background in product innovation and software engineering. In this position, you will be responsible for providing overall software program management, driving adoption of best practices, leading stakeholder communication, and reviewing software design and architecture. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for attracting, retaining, engaging, and developing the teams while also leading and encouraging them to achieve the goals of Equinix

• Provide technology thought leadership and responsible to design and deliver software components

• Work closely with Product management and customer on prioritization and delivery schedules

• Performs quarterly performance reviews for the team

• Setting and refining the engineering vision for this team and collaborating with product management to build outstanding systems.

• Set a strong engineering culture with a focus on quality, engineering fundamentals, and architecture to scale

• Partners with Product Owners, Scrum Leads, and Engineering Managers to define and promote operational excellence and ensure that teams deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable functionalities.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in Software Development

• 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in leading a team of engineers preferred

• Hands-on technically and ability to guide team on technical design, architecture, and execution

• Experience in stakeholder management and working across different teams across the Organization

• Ability to attract, develop, and keep high-quality multi-disciplinary teams

• Experience leading large teams of engineers and driving large-scale, critical projects and products to succeed in collaboration with product, design, and business teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
