Job Summary
The Manager, Operations – Real Estate will oversee the management and optimization of Equinix’s corporate real estate portfolio, including office spaces outside and data center-related properties. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency while supporting a safe, sustainable, and connected work environment.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Oversee lease administration, property maintenance, and vendor relationships for corporate offices and data center sites.
- Strategic Planning: Support inventory planning, capital expenditure forecasting, and site acquisition for new development opportunities
- Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with local regulations, sustainability standards, and Equinix policies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Global Corporate Real Estate (CRE), Facilities, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality workplace experiences.
- Budget Oversight: Manage operating and capital budgets for assigned properties.
- Leadership: Drive a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years -10 of related experience or equivalent work experience Real Estate
Electrical engineer, mechatronic engineer or equivalent or civil engineer.
- Strong knowledge of lease negotiations, property operations, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English required.
