Manager, Digital Productivity & Collaboration

Productivity and Collaboration Manager 

The Digital Workplace Experience team is looking for a hands-on technology leader to manage a small team of engineers that are focused on innovation, development, and adoption of our current and future core shared services to improve collaboration and productivity for our colleagues and partners across the globe. 

The ideal candidate is working or has worked IT operations, support or unified communication teams and brings solid experience in designing, deploying, and adopting global productivity and collaboration tools and platforms, such as Zoom, Teams, Slack, etc.  Ready to drive technology transformations that set the stage for growth, scale and unmatched collaboration and productivity. A global leader who thrives at growing engineers and project teams to successfully deliver global solutions that drive a more seamless and frictionless colleague experience. 

Key focus areas 

Designing and enabling a low friction, seamless collaboration, and communication experience for our global colleagues 

Establish and evolve a framework for how we choose, implement, adopt, and scale our productivity and collaboration tools and platforms 

Deploying and managing change for multiple global collaboration, communication or productivity tools 

Responsibilities 

  • Ownership of the global productivity and collaboration vision, strategy, and roadmap 
  • Lead Microsoft 365 (Teams, Yammer, OneDrive, etc.), Zoom and other productivity and collaboration platform adoption 
  • Ensure collaboration platforms are aligned with current and future business requirements 
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal stake holders to help identify and implement more efficient ways of collaborating 
  • Modernize the global communications infrastructure and architecture 
  • Lead, develop and mentor team members through 1 on 1’s, goal setting and achievement and career building exercises 
  • Create, support or contribute to RFP and business case development 
  • Vendor management 

Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of collaboration, communication, end user, IT operations support, or IT systems analyst experience 
  • 3+ years professional leadership experience in a global enterprise IT support, unified communications, or telecom engineering team 
  • Transformational leader who can understand and leverage latest technology and tools to accelerate effectiveness and maximize efficiency  
  • Strong experience with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and other Microsoft 365 tools 
  • Strong experience with Zoom, Slack, Miro, and other collaboration and communication tools 
  • Experience with designing and managing meeting room technologies and automation 
  • Previous experience launching and scaling new products, product enhancements, and innovative capabilities  
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices for driving adoption to end user technologies in medium to large scale technology companies 
  • Ability to provide financial analysis for projects and technologies, for example TCO and ROI 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to support the entire portfolio of productivity and collaboration tools 
  • Proven success of building consensus by engaging with internal customers, through listening and influencing, and the ability to translate technical details into understandable concepts 
  • Very customer focused and experience working with end users 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc. 
  • Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management 
  • Employee development experience (hiring, resource planning, performance feedback, etc.) 
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience
