Summary: The Digital Workplace Engineering team is looking for a dynamic leader that will be responsible for managing a team of very highly motivated engineers and futurists that will establish a strong architecture for productivity and collaboration tools and platforms for our colleagues around the world.  Key focus areas includes deploying the latest global cloud telephony platform, R&D for next gen collaboration platforms, establishing a robust enterprise content management process and technological approaches as well as supporting business process automation technology products.  The ideal candidate has deep technical experience successfully delivering enterprise solutions, in a Microsoft ecosystem, at scale for a global organization as well as possesses amazing customer service, engagement and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Owns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for collaboration and productivity platforms

  • Defines and delivers solutions using Microsoft SharePoint, Office365, and the Microsoft ecosystem

  • Serves as a subject matter expert and interacts with customers, senior management, and vendor partners

  • Leads modernization, digital transformation, workflow automation, and related process re-engineering efforts by educating the user community on features and capabilities through presentations and demonstrations

  • Oversees governance and project management activities for the productivity and collaboration product lines to ensure user adoption, while simultaneously providing standardization necessary for security, compliance and discoverability

  • Creates compelling end user adoption strategies

  • Implements frameworks to address workflows and lifecycles within the productivity and collaboration space

  • Lead, develop and mentor team members

  • Works with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to define and deliver high-value features

Qualifications

  • 1+ years professional experience in an end user technology services leadership role. 3 or more years of experience leading, architecting and implementing a vision, strategy and roadmap for Microsoft and related productivity and collaboration tools preferred

  • Proven ability to manage and lead diverse projects teams and partners to provide real world solutions to business challenges that are effective in achieving high adoption and colleague satisfaction to drive real business value from current and future productivity and collaboration initiatives

  • Leader who leads by example, easily approachable by staff and partners, promotes a collaborative work environment and actively takes part in their team's talent development using individual developmental and growth plans.

  • Proven ability to manage "up" to Senior IT management for effective communication, planning and strategy building

  • Influential communicator that has a proven history of bringing together diverse people and teams in order to deliver an aligned vision, strategy and goal

  • Models the Equinix Culture and Values

  • Bachelor's in Engineering preferred
