The Equinix Internship Program opportunity offers wide-ranging opportunities across all of our functions, where you will be given the opportunity to gain basic knowledge and understanding, working alongside our leaders. You will spend your time gaining practical work experience and learning from some of the sharpest minds in the industry, work in a culture that thrives on innovation and delivering results, while building solid relationships with industry leaders, and fellow students from around the country.

Job Summary

Opportunity to work with our University Relation Lead and Talent Branding Marketing Manager to help develop and execute the Equinix Internship program across Asia-Pacific.

In this internship position you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills across talent marketing, event management, recruitment and coordination.

Position starts in May 2023 for 12 weeks !

Role responsibilities:

Marketing & Events

  • Develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts to support hiring and marketing campaigns for all marketing channels while adhering to global brand guidelines 

  • Update current job advertisement as needed 

  • Conduct employee interviews to contribute and create social media content and blog articles about what’s like working at Equinix 

  • Create templates to enable the team rolling out talent marketing campaigns 

  • Events – coordinate events, send invitations, and assist in facilitation and content creation

Recruitment and program support

  • Build relationships with Universities and diversity partners

  • Market research – Assist with market research

  • Assist with the administration & coordination of the intern program

  • Maintain event calendar, inventory of intern swag, update reports and respond to admin requests

Skills & Experience

  • Strong graphic design and copywriting skills 

  • An eye for typography, composition, layout and color 

  • Able to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner 

  • Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent, and digitally savvy with social media channels 

  • Being agile and able to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, and work with team across regions 

  • Excellent administration, organisational and project management skills;

  • Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally

  • High level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft suite, particularly Excel & PowerPoint

  • Trustworthy when dealing with confidential and sensitive information;

  • Experience in event management a bonus
