Job Summary: The Industrial Control Systems (ICS)/Physical Security Senior Analyst ensures the security of the organization's information assets, designs, configuration baselines, and systems through a structured and proactive approach that balances risk with business requirements. This person plans, engineers, configures, implements, and troubleshoots security and ICS infrastructure necessary to maintain global data centers and ICS infrastructure. This person provides domain expertise for a variety of technology projects with an emphasis on ICS security through partnership with internal and external business partners to improve security for Equinix and its customers.
This person implements new ICS security technologies to promote optimal business network operations and provide operational support for security and ICS infrastructure, including proactive identification of security vulnerabilities and mitigation opportunities within the security and ICS infrastructure. This person maintains awareness of relevant tools and capabilities to ensure implementation and operationalization of effective technologies to address threats.
Identifies change needed in data center infrastructure design and configurations necessary to achieve ICS physical security goals.
Perform analysis of multiple industry standard and proprietary ICS physical security systems protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP IP, HTTP, FTP, SFTP, USB, MODBUS TCP, PROFIBUS, BACNET, RS 232/485, XMPP, etc.).
Actively participates in data center infrastructure strategy reviews and design sessions.
Leads effective issue identification and resolution processes, serving as an escalation point for all ICS security operations issues to determine root cause.
Perform Tier 3 support, to include, but not limited to advanced systems troubleshooting, problem resolution, and participation in an on-call incident response.
Creates and maintains documentation of global ICS systems designs, configurations, and processes.
Evaluates potential technologies and recommends future strategy to management.
Interacts with business partners to develop strategies for ICS security implementation and operationalization.
Assists with audit activities, regional compliance, and supports various steering committees.
At least 5 complete years of relevant working experience with implementation / deployment / securing ICS/OT/IT systems, 7+ years of experience preferred.
Expertise in detecting, monitoring, and controlling physical security equipment.
Experience with biometrics, CCTV, network video recorders, HID cards, access control systems, and other physical security devices.
Knowledge of system and network security techniques and standards, including NIST CSF, 800-53, and 800-82.
Experience in scripting and/or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, C, C++, Visual C, Java, Java Script, SQL, etc.) is preferred.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Lucidchart.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent preferred.
Security+ and SANS GCIH certifications preferred.
Overseas travel may be required.

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $113K- $153K per year with 20% bonus target.
