IBX Engineering Supervisor

Job Summary:

Supervises IBX Engineers and IBX site. Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance.
Typically has fewer than 2 years of supervisory experience and is not fully proficient in all areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Management
· Supervises IBX Engineers to ensure that the duties they are undertaking are carried out in a timely manner and projects are progressing as expected
· Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development

Site Capacity Management
· Overall site capacity supervision

Project/Infrastructure Management
· Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the Data Center
· Provides input and guidance towards budget

Vendor Management
· Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards

Testing
· Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

Incident Management
· Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an inciden
