Job Summary: We are hiring a HR Program Senior Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning to lead a portfolio of initiatives intended to transform the Human Resource function and our Strategic Workforce Planning capabilities.  Be a strategic thought partner and influencer to our HR and Finance Leaders to gather insights, identify the highest impact opportunities, design solutions customer-back, and partner with multiple enabling teams to ensure seamless delivery.  You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry and enjoy a competitive package, extraordinary benefits, and a creative and diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

Insights

  • Facilitate and lead the gathering of customer and business insights to inform priorities, designs, and change management.

Partnerships

  • Be a trusted strategic partner and representative of the HR Transformation and Operations function with our HR Leaders, Finance Partners, IT Partners, Business Leaders, and HR Centers of Expertise. 

  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders throughout the organization and be a leader and partner in delivery with all partnering functions to ensure high engagement and seamless delivery.

  • Successfully navigate complex or difficult situations and conversations with stakeholders at all levels across the organization and bring all parties together to achieve an optimal outcome.

Planning

  • Providing inputs into strategic business cases. 

  • Utilize wide-ranging experience, expert business knowledge, and creative solutioning in planning large scale and/or complex programs. 

  • Will be leading multiple functional teams (internally and externally) to deliver strategic business cases, terms of reference (TOR), high-level milestones.

HR Strategy

  • Lead the Core Team, managing resources in a matrixed organization and oversee all effort required for each project this role is responsible for, developing and delivering detailed project plans. 

  • Ensure all activities are successfully delivered on time, within scope, within budget and at the level of quality agreed to with the Project Sponsors and Steering Committee.

  • Collaborate with executive leaders on key program milestones, concepts, decisions, and exercise expert project management skills to ensure that solutions meet the desired outcomes.

  • Demonstrate accountability for successful implementation of long-term solutions.

Communication

  • Lead communication across the core project team, with key stakeholders and governing bodies.

  • Coordinate with the Change, Communication and Learning lead on change impacts, delivery approach and training/coaching of the change.

  • Demonstrate exceptional executive presence and influencing skills when presenting to executive level stakeholders.

Issue & Risk Management

  • Has responsibility for performing and managing the issue and risk management efforts overall for each project this role is responsible for. 

  • Applies lateral thinking and analysis to solve complex problems when necessary and escalates appropriately based on the agreed to escalation process and governance model.

Leader as Coach

  • Be a coach for the project teams to inspire, engage, remove barriers and advise to resolve complex challenges and deliver game changing results. 

HR SME

  • Utilize experience and understanding of HR to ensure solutions are well thought through in delivering cross functional value to internal and external customers.

  • Demonstrate understanding of how other areas are impacted or opportunities to add value.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 8+ years. overseeing multiple highly complex company-wide projects simultaneously.

  • 6+ years of experience with Human Resources programs, designing and delivering employee and leadership facing programs across the full range of HR domains, including Recruiting, Talent Management, Rewards, and Operations.

  • 6+ years of project/program management experience in mid-size (5k employees minimum) to large size companies, implementing projects with budget from $1M - $5M or greater and significant people, process and technology changes and aggressive timelines.

  • 6+ yrs. leading programs reporting directly to Executives (VP) and above, ability to present to VPs/Executives essential.

  • Expertise in LEAN methods including Design Thinking, Agile, and continuous process improvement.

  • Experience of working within HR or leading a specific function of HR with a solid understanding of the various HR Functions and the role each plays as part of the People Cycle.

  • Technology:  Experience delivering results leveraging Technology.

  • Experience of delivering cross functional programmes in particular Finance related with a solid understanding of Headcount Planning and how the needs of HR and Finance may differ but how they partner to deliver solid planning processes and accurate data.

  • Specific experience in delivering Strategic Workforce Planning as an HR Business Partner or experience of implementing an SWP project strongly advantageous.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated success in highly rapid and fluid business environments.

  • Highly competent in facilitating meetings with many functional areas represented and taking notes live.

  • Experience of Change Management and methodologies, undertaking change impacts and change readiness as well as developing robust communication plans and presentations plus drafting communications on behalf of Leaders.

  • Experience of developing Business and Investment cases for new ways of working, selecting, and implementing new technology with a clear undertaking of ROI as well as other associated benefits.

  • Experience of leading implantation partners or consultants/consultancy firms within a partnership programme delivery framework.

  • Strong language skills both written and spoken.

  • Able to work in agile technology environment and possessing and creative solutioning skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with enterprise planning tools leveraging integrated planning desired, with a preference for Anaplan.

  • Global experience preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

  • Certification(s) in programme management, project management, quality management, agile methodology and/or six sigma preferred.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant project and program management samples will be required during the interview process. If none are available, will be asked to provide mock-ups.

For CO residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for this role is $130k – $177k per year with 25% bonus target.
