The HR Business Partner will be the strategic partner within our product team, responsible for translating business strategy and requirements into global HR strategy, plans and objectives for the function. As a member of the HR Team, the HR Business Partner will collaborate with other HRBPs to ensure regional and local market requirements are represented in strategies and plans, along with other HR colleagues & teams.

Exceptional communication and people skills are a requirement. Must be comfortable with ambiguity and be a resourceful, savvy professional that is committed to finding solutions and making an impact.
Strategic partner/trusted advisor to key Executive(s). Works closely with senior leadership to define and execute business strategies that enable alignment and growth. Responsible for defining and executing required strategic HR solutions and talent strategy.
Brings an objective perspective in managing business problems. Provides insight regarding people, organizational dynamics and the business and translates this insight into sustainable solutions. Recognizes and effectively balances the client group’s interests with the needs of the company.
Partner with the business leaders to maximize organizational effectiveness. Leverage expertise in organization design, team development, talent/workforce planning, change management to maintain a culture that optimizes the passion and potential of our employees.
Develop in depth knowledge of the business both strategically and operationally to build consultative partnerships with executives and leaders in the product organization.
Through authenticity, establish credibility and trusted relationships to problem solve and coach as a member of leadership team.
Model strong partnerships with other enabling functions throughout the company to help leaders run the business.
Offer insight based on systemic thinking, inquiry and analytics.
Think globally, spot trends, proactively communicate and act in accordance to the team operating norms and contribute to a strong HR team across the company.
Minimum of 15 years Human Resources experience with at least 5 years as Business Partner in an evolving global organization, high tech and go to market experience preferred.
Master’s Degree Preferred.
A broad base of human resources experience is a must, as well as, a strong track record and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
Demonstrated experience in organizational transformation work, driving organizational design and change management initiatives within a complex, evolving environment required.
Proactive collaboration within the HR team and demonstrated ability to impact and influence leaders.
In-depth experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams
Strong systems thinking, highly collaborative, open-minded, persistent, and passion for and understanding of Equinix business.
Working knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence through integration planning and execution preferred.
