Job Summary: The GTM Readiness Content Development & Facilitator Sr. Manager will be responsible for assessing, designing, and developing engaging and effect learning content, messaging and virtual-live, facilitator-led classes that provide foundational and advanced knowledge, industry expertise, technical skills, and skills application for our field sellers. The individual in this role will work with the field, business stakeholders and subject-matter experts to define enablement objectives and detailed content outlines. They will then use these insights and requirements to develop content, messaging, exercises, and activities that are field-relevant, practical, repeatable, real-world, and digestible. We are seeking someone who is passionate about working with the field and subject matter experts, effective at building relationships, and adept at synthesizing large amounts of complex information to make it simple and actionable. This position is an individual contributor role and will report to the Sr. Manager, GTM Readiness.

Responsibilities

Develop Content and Messaging

  • Engage the field and business stakeholders to identify gaps and requirements for knowledge, skills and expertise needed for them to succeed in their roles.

  • Leverage information gained through needs analysis to design, develop, and implement engaging, informative and effective, compelling learning experiences, including virtual, facilitator-led training, videos job aids, audio/video scripts and skill-based activities and/or exercises

  • Research topic and obtain as much information from outside of Equinix to inform the topic direction for the field

  • Interview and collaborate with SMEs to develop and review the content and messaging and proactively identify additional expert resources who can address content gaps

  • Conduct your own internal research on enablement topics, using investigative reporting techniques to identify, define and distill information and messaging that is essential to customer success, but may not yet have been articulated by SMEs

  • Develop activities and exercises that measure participant learning and application throughout the enablement experience

  • Measure and assess the effectiveness of enablement to inform future program requirements and identify areas where additional learning and reinforcement are required

  • Create resources that align facilitators, presenters and virtual producers of the sessions content, timing, key messages, and activities

Delivery

  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions with facilitators and virtual producers as required

  • Facilitate sessions, manage presenters, enforce key messages, manage chat questions, and keep presenter energy enthusiastic throughout the sessions

Program Management

  • Oversee and lead all aspects of the program – from development to delivery to post event on-demand sessions and survey results

  • Create, drive and maintain detailed project plans to facilitate coordination with team members, SMEs, facilitators, producers and execution expectations

  • Plan, schedule, and manage learning workshops

  • Manage all deliverables and media incorporated into the enablement sessions

  • Create strategies to measure and report on program effectiveness

  • Coordinate all post-class elements such as, on-demand versions, reporting, communications, postings, etc.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience scoping, planning, designing, developing, and implementing effective sales and partner enablement and training solutions, including content for both business and technical audiences, for a technology company

  • 3+ years’ experience facilitating or instructing enablement sessions

  • Excellent presentation skills to small and large audiences in-person as well as using web conferencing tools

  • Experience working directly with direct sales, channel sales, and partners to understand their learning needs, vet content, and gather closed loop feedback

  • Consultative approach and proven track record of effective collaboration and influence at all levels of an organization, with ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment

  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place

  • Proficient in PowerPoint

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong program management skills

  • Proactive, self-directed and results-oriented

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
