Responsible for supporting the implementation and day-to-day management of the global renewable energy/cleantech strategy.
Execute and oversee projects undertaken to meet the sustainability and renewable energy goals of the company.
Manage the sourcing and purchasing process including development of qualified bidders’ lists; receipt and evaluation of proposals; financial modeling/analysis; contract negotiation, award and administration of purchase orders, and preparation and distribution of records and reports.
Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders including supporting the Utilities & Energy team, Global Operations, Accounting, Sales & customers, Investor & Analyst Relations and Marketing.
Create, control and enhance reporting activities.
Regularly present to E-staff and other internal/external groups as necessary.
Maintain and execute against the company’s global strategic sustainability goals.
Act as an SME for renewable energy/cleantech queries.
Work with internal teams and external energy consultant(s) to ensure full participation in key program elements to ensure resulting data and information is sufficiently detailed, complete, accurate, and auditable for use for external reporting to agencies such as Global Reporting Initiative, Carbon Disclosure Project, RE100, LEED and Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark.
Assist in the creations and retention of accurate utility and sustainability data.
Ability to travel frequently travel internationally and domestically.
7+ years of experience preferred with 5+ years’ experience working in renewable energy/cleantech, power utilities procurement, and/or sustainability.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience with complex Power Purchasing Agreements (PPA’s), contract negotiations and supplier management specific to renewable energy/cleantech projects with broad understanding of the global energy markets.
Knowledgeable with financial modeling and analysis of PPA’s including understanding the risks of renewable energy/cleantech projects and options to mitigate risk.
Supplier / Utility / Energy Consultancy experience.
Possess excellent negotiation skills, evidenced by significant deliverables (e.g. cost savings, risk mitigation) resulting from completed negotiations.
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, successfully interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders.
Provide excellent analytical skills identifying all options available and defining best possible solutions.

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $120K – $165K per year with 25% bonus target.
