Job Summary: 

  

Supports the Global Data Reconciliation team in ensuring data integrity through coordination of physical audits, data exploration, data audits, corrections, and reporting. Conducts basic database quality assurance under minimal supervision to maintain accuracy and reliability 

   

Responsibilities  

  

Data Exploration  

  • Explores data files to determine trends and relationships between variables  

  • Pulls data through a variety of tools to gather source data to support metrics  

  • Cross checks data sets to help data integrity  

  • Reviews typical issues around data integrity and works with management to determine what actions to take to resolve them  

  • Provides support to the Global and Regional data remediation teams, in maintaining a reasonable level of data quality to the region.  

  • Identifies root causes related to newly discovered issues  

  • Perform data impact analysis and drive consistent data solutions within the Region as well as Globally to maintain alignment in relation to business process  

  • Ability to understand various technologies, analytic tools to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day data issues  

  • Support of M&A Data Integrations ensuring Product alignment and Data Integrity are maintained  

  

Ad Hoc Reporting  

  • Creates basic ad hoc report requests, using insights from data exploration to prepare basic visualizations and PowerPoint reports for clients requesting the data  

  • Compiles data and assists in producing routine reports  

  • Delivers reports to stakeholder group and answers questions pertaining to the report  

  

Client Management and Audit Support  

  • Reaches out to client to clarify requests and debriefs with client to explain data insights and confirm report   

  • Coordinates and tracks audit requirements for specific data set and processes  

  • Works with management for any process related issues that need to be addressed  

  • Follows up as needed to address discrepancies found in audits and tracks to completion  

  • Support of M&A physical audits to support Data Integrations   

  

Data Audit and Cleansing   

  • Contributes to periodic audits of data within business systems/platforms  

  • Performs follow-up checks to ensure data quality and accuracy  

  

Qualifications  

  

Required 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, sorting, charting, lookups, conditional formatting, etc) 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Able to present and translate complex findings tailored to stakeholder needs 

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks 

  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills 

  

Nice to have 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or relevant engineering discipline is a plus  

  • Ability to communicate in Portuguese
