Job Summary
The Regional Senior FP&A Analyst will work within a close-knit team of Operations and Finance professionals and interact regularly with other departments in the organization. This individual will be involved in executing Financial Planning and Analysis / Operational Finance tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, management reporting and transaction analysis. These duties require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, maturity, and independent judgment. The person must possess strong interpersonal and organization skills.
Responsibilities
Supports the production of quarterly management reports (i.e., quarterly regional performance reviews, quarterly forecast presentations, budget presentations, etc.) for Executive Management, including financial information, non-financial KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and insightful variance analysis and commentary
Solve complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions, exercising judgment based on the financial analysis of multiple sources of information
Prepare Fusion deck and consolidate annual/quarterly budget for Regional FP&A
Develop relationships and deliver accurate monthly/quarterly financial reporting package and presentation for business partners
Utilize Hyperion and other systems to design and analyze multi-dimensional financial reports to improve business visibility efficiency
Identify and investigate monthly budget/forecast vs. actual variance
Manage Utilities forecast for North America
Participate in cross function projects like system implementation and process redesign
Continuously improve the overall Operation financial reporting process as business requirements evolve
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related technical field preferred · Master's degree (MBA) preferred
3+ years of Finance experience required, preferably in Accounting or FP&A
CPA/CFA certification preferred
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance measurement required
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook)
Experience with Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan preferred
Strong analytical, quantitative, written and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated process improvement track record with ability to solve complex problems
Ability to deliver thoughtful, accurate and timely work product
Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and proven record as a team player, with ability to partner with employees at all levels in the organization
Understanding of financial management, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and valuation principles/metrics
Experience with a public multi-national company preferred
