Job Summary: Equinix Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for providing financial leadership to support and challenge decisions pertaining to the profitability and financial health of the company.  FP&A is primarily responsible for forecasting, budgeting, reporting, analysis and business partnering.  The FP&A team aims to deliver high quality, relevant, timely and accurate financial and non-financial information to enable key decision making and strategic direction.  The group is designed to provide highly motivated and skilled individuals career development opportunities at a growing company. 

Responsibilities 

• Assist in managing Strategic Long-Term Model (LTM) process including coordination of templates, consolidation of dashboards and completing extensive analysis of business outlook and trends

• Facilitate regional LTM review meetings with the regional FP&A teams to understand changes in the forecast and impact to REIT Asset Test

• Support refreshing the quarterly REIT Asset Test including coordination inputs for DCF valuation and preparing the steering committee presentations. This requires working with cross functions (i.e. Tax, Treasury, Stock Services, external banks etc.)

• Prepare and manage headcount metrics for forecasts, actuals and budget at both a functional and global level requiring working closely with FP&A partners to understand trends and performing analysis to asses financial impact of hiring plan

• Prepare and manage quarterly Audit Committee report and analysis of operating metrics for Board and executive presentation

• Support adhoc budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning requests and analysis

• Assist with special projects that support corporate, global and local finance initiatives

Qualifications 

• 1+ years of experience in finance preferred. Experience in modeling and forecasting strongly preferred 

• A strong academic background with demonstrable commercial acumen.  Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting degree preferred 

• Experience working for a multinational organization, in a high growth, fast paced and dynamic global technology-driven environment strongly preferred 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the confidence to routinely interact with an executive level audience 

• Hands on, can do attitude, results orientated, highly organized, detail-oriented able to handle complexity, ambiguity and time pressures 

• Highly developed interpersonal style with emphasis on building strong long-term relationships particularly across various geographies and cross-functionally 

• Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Other financial system product experience preferred (Oracle, Hyperion planning, etc.)
