Job Summary
As a Sales Director at Equinix, you will be the driving force behind market expansion and revenue acceleration. This is a strategic leadership role where you’ll shape go-to-market strategies, penetrate new enterprise accounts, and elevate existing relationships to new heights. What You’ll Do
Own the Market Strategy
Design and execute comprehensive territory and account plans to capture new opportunities and grow market share
Drive annual quota setting and resource allocation to optimize performance
Conduct internal Quarterly Business Reviews to track progress and refine strategies
Deliver Predictable Growth
Achieve and exceed ambitious sales targets through disciplined forecasting and pipeline management
Establish a strong cadence for pipeline reviews and performance reporting to senior leadership
Build Strategic Customer Relationships
Cultivate long-term partnerships with key accounts, ensuring trust and satisfaction
Lead executive-level business reviews and resolve escalated issues with speed and precision
Mobilize Internal & External Partnerships
Drive coordinated sales strategies with cross-functional teams and external partners
Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation programs and approve solutions for complex opportunities
Champion Solution Selling
Ensure your team translates Equinix’s holistic vision into compelling value propositions
Promote adoption of advanced solution-selling practices across the team
Lead & Inspire
Provide clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to elevate team performance
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Own hiring, career development, and performance management for your team
Act as a change agent, driving adoption of new processes and go-to-market strategies
Regional Leadership
Manage country-level sales operations and support functions
Lead local negotiations for global accounts and contribute to acquisition strategies
Build and manage budgets for your territory
What You Bring
10+ years of experience in enterprise sales leadership
Proven track record of driving growth and leading high-performing teams
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and people management skills
Bachelor’s degree required
