The Director Partner Program is responsible for aligning with the Partner Management VP to deliver on prioritized efforts identified for the EMEA region. Responsibilities include leading a team that will fulfill a list of deliverables [below] in support of all partner types [Agent, Alliance, Reseller, Broker] across the spectrum of partner prioritization [Premier: Top 30, Regional, Corporate and Select: Long Tail]. Regional leadership will connect with central Channel Program leadership for key deliverables and provide feedback to the central team to improve that team’s effectiveness. Measures of success will be directly linked to the success of the EMEA channel sales goals and initiatives. Responsibilities include Activation, Partner Experience/On-boarding, Partner Programs & Processes, GTM/SAM/PTP, Field Education on Channel, and Country/Regional Business Reviews.

Responsibilities

Program Development & Delivery

  • Directs all related activities in support of the execution of the go-to-market strategy related to resale and referral programs to drive new channel bookings and enterprise new logos
  • Drives to a common global program strategy, accelerating creation/sharing/adopting of partner programs globally


Program Assessment and Governance / Program Effectiveness

  • Evaluates and facilitates Executive discussion and/or approval for implementation of recommendations for enhancements of the current program including rationalizing Equinix’s top key differentiators and ensuring the optimal engagement model for each selling motion (referral or reseller) and partner organization
  • Evaluates and facilitates Executive discussion and/or the approval of the business case to support recommendations for program refinements to support the global scaling of the Channel business


Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborates with Global and Regional Executives from Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Legal, Marketing, SAs to drive referral and reseller partner programs to extend the relationships to new prospects and capture new enterprise logos
  • Partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment of partner programs
  • Leads cross-functional teams in implementation of large projects


Regional Promotion

  • Oversees the design and implementation of Global and Regional Program promotions


Process Simplification& Automation

  • Directs the design and implementation of systems and procedures to streamline global referral and reseller partner management
  • Obtains Executive approvals and funding as required


Partner Experience

  • Constitutes as a Customer Experience Executive advocate internally


Communication

·        Is responsible for being the Internal "Face of the Program"


People Management

  • Provides leadership and direction to the team, through subordinates, to ensure overall success of the team
  • Drives accountability for the performance and results of direct reports and larger teams
  • Is responsible for all hiring decisions and activities including job definition, interviewing, selection, and onboarding
  • Is responsible for all employee decisions and activities including compensation, quarterly conversations, performance counseling, coaching and career development
  • Ensures workload is balanced
  • Assesses employee engagement and develops and implements strategies and programs to improve it
  • Is responsible for succession planning recommendations and contributing to and driving the people development strategy
  • Models the Equinix Culture and Values


Who are you?

  • Proven success in channel sales for an internet, network, data center, hyperscaler or cloud based products or services provider required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration required
