Corporate Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for new account acquisition, drive and increase adoption of Equinix’s Digital Services to the mid-market new accounts in ASEAN.

Responsibilities:

Solution Selling:

  • Identify the customer’s business needs, challenges, technical requirements and propose Equinix solutions in partnership with Solutions Architects/Equinix Partners.
  • Understand customer’s challenges and be able to map, articulate Equinix value preposition and digital services to offer to the Prospects.
  • Drive strategic conversations with Prospects, support customers to modernize and

Prospecting and Pipeline Management

  • Build a strong opportunity funnel by working closely with Opportunity Development team, Partners to uncover, qualify leads and seek new opportunities.
  • Ability to reach out and interact with decision makers - C-level, business owners, Chief Digital Officers etc.
  • Achieve targets assigned.
  • Pursue high propensity prospects, exporting deals maintain funnel with multi-times and multi-quarter pipeline.
  • Actively monitor and update opportunity status in SFDC following principles of timely forecasting.
  • Identify account with churn risk, look out for expiring contracts and forecast churn accurately.

Leveraging Partners Channel

  • Leads and drives coordinated sales approach with the extended sales team (Sales Engineers, Solutions Architect, Commercial Solutions) including Channels, Partners team.

Negotiation

  • Leads commercial offer and contract negotiations, leveraging internal resources as needed to acquire the best commercial terms possible.
  • Understands commercial levers and problem solves to make initial recommendations on deal structure.

Contract Renewals

  • Addresses high churn risk customers leveraging internal resources and external partners.
  • Facilitates customer contract renewals and negotiations to protect revenue.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 5+ years of related experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in the technology industry
  • Consistent track record in Mid market business
  • Good presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills
