  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule and track audits within the audit management system.

  • Support the timely closure of audit findings, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are tracked and implemented effectively.
  • Monitor and report audit findings status, contributing to compliance and EHS performance reporting.
  • Partner with the 1st Line of Defense to prepare for external audits, providing EHS subject matter expertise (SME) and guidance as required.

Management Systems

  • Support the maintenance and ongoing development of Equinix’s Global Management Systems (GMS), with a focus on environmental, health, and safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of EHS processes, procedures, and documentation across sites.
  • Communicate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to site teams, ensuring effective implementation and adoption.
  • Ensure EHS and compliance records are accurately maintained in local and global systems, including records related to audits, incidents, training, and regulatory requirements.

Program Management

  • Produce reports and dashboards to track EHS compliance KPIs and performance metrics, including audit readiness, findings closure, and risk trends.
  • Manage and track audit and compliance program activities, including follow‑up with 1st Line of Defense on open findings and action items.
  • Identify areas for improvement in EHS performance, compliance processes, and risk management practices, and participate in improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Support cross‑functional compliance and EHS programs to enhance operational effectiveness and regulatory alignment.

Training

  • Track and report completion of mandatory EHS and compliance training, escalating risks where completion rates fall below expectations.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and improve EHS training programs, awareness initiatives, and learning materials.
  • Deliver overview training for 1st Line of Defense on compliance processes, EHS requirements, and management systems.

Support

  • Act as a primary point of contact and SME for 1st Line of Defense and stakeholders on EHS and compliance-related matters, including regulatory requirements and audit readiness.
  • Support customer audits, as well as RFI/RFP requests related to EHS, sustainability, and compliance practices.
  • Provide support across Global Operations Compliance activities, including participation in cross-functional projects involving safety, environmental performance, or regulatory compliance.
  • Identify potential EHS and regulatory risks, proactively raising concerns and recommending mitigation actions.
  • Communicate risks in a timely and structured manner to management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across operations, compliance, and EHS teams.
