Job Summary
Smarter. Faster. Global. The Commercial Solutions Senior Analyst is responsible for developing effective and scalable commercial proposals within business guidelines in support of Edge Infrastructure Sales team and Resale Partners. This individual will play a critical leading role partnering with Sales to balance Customer requirements within commercial guidelines, identify key insights from data-driven financial analysis, and collaborate with internal stakeholders in Legal, Billing, and Product to grow long-term healthy commercial relationships.
Responsibilities
Key Business Partner to the Sales function with high impact and level of responsibility
Work with a team of analysts partnering with the Finance, Product and Capacity teams to shape the right deals in support of our sales objectives in Edge Infrastructure
Supports Sales by advising sales reps in the commercial structure of complex deals balancing customer needs with internal strategy and goals
Provides customer facing support in complex negotiations and where subject matter expertise is beneficial
Partner with, learn from and collaborate with the broader Equinix commercial solutions team to align best practices and share knowledge, as well as support joint opportunities
Develop processes and procedures to ensure alignment with all stakeholders in a repeatable manner
Prepares regional and global Deal Reviews, ensuring compilation of appropriate analysis, summary, and recommendations for speedy review and approvals
Qualifications
You have deep understanding of IaaS/server pricing and the competitive landscape around bare metal and virtualized cloud computing services
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Proven experience in the commercial side of hosting or cloud businesses
English speaker, native (a plus) or fluent
Capex and Opex are your two best friends
You are passionate about infrastructure, interconnection, and the future of technology.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
You are able to easily connect with both operational and business stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast moving and unpredictable environment
You take initiative, use creativity, and value collaboration in driving towards the right outcome for all parties.

The ability to build strong relationships with peers and teammates in a remote environment
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work independently with little oversight
