Business System Analyst - Oracle Cloud

Job Summary

Equinix offers wide-ranging opportunities in Information Technology. It is currently implementing Oracle SaaS-PaaS ERP application ecosystems. Enterprise Applications -The corporate team at Equinix focuses on implementing the next-generation software applications for Equinix to scale and support Equinix's internal ecosystems.

As Business Systems Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to Support and Enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape.

This position will help maintain the oracle cloud applications and liaison between business analysts and technical and functional Leads.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-line support to users of Oracle Cloud applications related to access, security, patching, integration, code migration, development, and performance

• Responding to developers, leads, and other business analysts' queries

• Triaging technical issues, system issues, and security access requests and violation

• Work with oracle on Oracle cloud applications on environment-related issues.

• Take the lead role in:

  • Assisting with developers, system analysts, and leads on the oracle cloud PaaS requests

  • Planning, Managing, and monitoring Oracle cloud environments

  • Refresh the Oracle cloud environments as per the plan

  • Manage the non-prod environments

  • Work with internal IT teams to apply the corporate/enterprise process and policies

  • Establish, Manage, maintain and support change management process for Oracle Cloud applications.

• Partner with other system owners to ensure system availability and performance

• Help the team in the Quarterly and monthly testing related to environment and connections

• Establish, maintain, manage and execute the post-environment activities

• Coordinate user acceptance testing for a new system or enhancement releases.  This involves assisting with creating test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule

• Learn and adapt to new technologies in a short duration

• Work with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix

• Assist in Implementing product features/proof of concept code that Equinix could use to expand its business objectives and application landscape

• Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of the agreed process.

• Assist in coordinating the activities of the Application Management services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field

• 4-8 years of experience working within the IT organization of a large multinational company

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Willingness to travel occasionally if needed

• Preference to computer science, mathematics, and related fields of study

• Worked in oracle cloud ERP/EPM application admin

• Experienced with cloud application security, protocols, network architecture, and databases

• Experienced with establishing connections with cloud applications and helping troubleshoot APIs

• Experienced with encryption technologies

• Experienced with maintaining cloud databases

• Experience with maintaining Virtual Machines in Cloud

• Experienced in monitoring overall OCI, PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS environment

• Experience with SSO, MFM, IAM, and IDCS

• Worked on developing, maintaining, supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting Oracle Integration cloud integrations

• Aware of fusion ERP application landscape like GL, FA, AP, AR, CM, FCCS, EDMCS, TRCS, ARCS, and Projects

• Worked as an Oracle Application Support analyst.

• Basic programming ability with at least one programming language

• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
