Job Summary: The Finance Strategy and Transformation team is responsible for driving the Finance Organization to scale its operations through a combination of People Development, Process Optimization, Technology Adoption and Data Analytics. We are looking for a Business Process Optimization Sr. Analyst who will work with functional teams towards building more efficient and scalable processes using Lean Six Sigma techniques, robotics process automation and advanced analytics tools. You will analyze and design business processes in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the finance organization.

We need someone who is excited and ready to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, and enable speed of operational processes.


Responsibilities

The candidate will primarily be responsible for working with the process owners and process subject matter experts to identify areas, which can be improved by process streamlining combined with technology, such as Robotic Process Automation tools. The candidate will also work on documenting the process as well as developing actual automations using the Robotic Process Automation tools.


Process Improvement

  • Drives process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/future-state processes in partnership with key internal stakeholders in Finance.

  • Identifies process gaps along with a root cause analysis of issues and uses data to make fact-based decisions for process improvement.

  • Makes process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs.

  • Works with cross functional teams to ensure the development of an efficient and scalable end to end process.

  • Coordinates with process owners and technology owners to define technology requirements to support the process strategy and deployment.

Analytics

  • Exposure to finance analytics, ability to study business processes and identify areas of improvement where analytics solutions can be leveraged.

  • Ability to capture and document key finance functions’ analytics As-Is process and partner with Analytics function to define the future scope.


Project Management

  • Creates, manages, and drives regional/cross-regional project plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniques.

  • Drives alignment with stakeholders from problem identification through implementation and post-implementation monitoring.

  • Ensures that the Process Improvement initiatives are aligned with the function’s strategic goal.

  • Tracks and communicates the status of business initiative projects to management.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience required, 5+ years experience in process improvement efforts preferred. Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field.

  • Applicable work experience in a consulting, finance / accounting environment.

  • Excellent communication skills including research, writing, and presentation skills.

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills required.

  • Prior technology focus around process tools preferred (i.e. BPM, RPA) but not required. 

  • Process Certifications (Six Sigma, BPM, ITIL or equivalent) a plus.

  • Ability to understand and assimilate new ideas and manage change.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. 

  • Team player, flexible, and ability to resolve conflicts.

  • Knowledge and working experience of Blue Prism or Uipath.
