Job Summary: The Global Operations Enablement Business Analyst will engage directly with business stakeholders across all regions to gather, assess, identify impact to business, recommend process improvements and drive technology and solutions related to product delivery and creating effective tools at Equinix Data centers. In this role, you will assess software quality through manual and automated testing and be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
You will be supporting establishing standards, processes, and policies for improving our service to customers. The role will also entail defining global requirements, design & analyze solutions and manage projects from inception to completion. To do this successfully, you will work closely with data center Operations Personnel, Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and other cross-functional teams to understand and refine business needs and IT development requirements.
Be the translator between internal customers and business stakeholders
Drive changes across data centers worldwide to achieve consistent business system solutions
Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, obtain, create and document business process, requirements, user stories
Perform impact analysis of the current business process, understand best practices, identify gaps, define future state business process, plan road map to achieve future state & execute road map
Provide recommendations for improvement based on research including new tools, processes & technologies
Review wireframes, prototypes, functional designs, working closely with UX designers, BSAs and DEV teams to ensure solution meets requirements
Assist with testing, documentation and training
Writing test cases, executing tests and recording the results
Project Management – Leverage your Agile and Lean project management skills to help teams meet and exceed deliverables.
Be the bridge to connect cross functional globally dispersed stake holders
An associate degree or 3+ years’ experience in a related technical field combined with experience preferred.
Ability to work independently across multiple projects, and to meet deadlines
Detail and project-oriented with a focus on quality and passion in the work at hand
Ability to communicate easily with a diverse group of people
Strong analytical skills to work with complex business problems and systems challenges
Reliability, diligence and excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail
A passion for improving processes and influencing cross functional and globally dispersed teams
