Summary:

Are you interested in process improvement and have an eye for efficiency? Have a penchant for time savings and enjoy being on the cutting edge of new technologies? Our Finance Strategy & Transformation team is growing! This team is responsible for the creation of process improvement and automation solutions across the finance functions. As the Finance Transformation Business Analyst, you will be a collaborator, project manager, subject matter expert, and driver behind projects that make lasting impact at Equinix.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a problem solver working proactively to develop scalable end-to-end solutions with cross functional finance and development teams that ensure long-term efficiency.

  • Collaborate with process owners to identify problems and define requirements that support process strategy and deployment.

  • Be the driving force behind process definition and re-engineering to create lasting improvements of manual processes.

  • Perform root cause analysis/identify process gaps and apply the appropriate methodologies to deliver redesigns and meet business needs.

  • Consistently communicate goals and project status from conception to post-implementation to partners, ensuring all initiatives are strategically aligned.

  • Lead user acceptance testing including identification of test cases and resources.

  • Complete post deployment analysis and monitoring to drive project completion.

  • Facilitate transformation and process improvement training across Equinix.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic learner with passion and innate curiosity

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity; able to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Proactive problem solver able to think critically and communicate effectively

  • Experience working with highly matrixed, global organizations

  • Experienced with Robotic Process Automation tools (Blue Prism, UiPath, etc.)

  • Six Sigma, BPM, ITIL or equivalent certifications are preferred

  • 3-5+ years' experience in process optimization and/or transformation required

  • Bachelor's degree required

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $71,000 to $126,000

• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $65,000 to $116,000

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

NON-SALES ROLES

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
