xScale FP&A Senior Analyst

As Senior Analyst, xScale FP&A, you will work within a close-knit team of finance professionals supporting the xScale business initiative at Equinix. You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, analysis, management reporting, and business partnering. The xScale initiative is a strategic priority for Equinix globally and is growing quickly. You will work closely with the Operations FP&A team, who are focused on the data center direct costs. As an early member of this dedicated support team, you will have the opportunity to be part of shaping how we deliver on our responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guidance, templates, analysis and presentation to enable the budget and forecast process
• Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages and presentation for business partners
• Identify and investigate monthly budget/forecast vs actual variances
• Utilize different systems to design and analyze multi-dimensional financial reports to improve business visibility
• Support the developing xScale business model by solving complex problems and taking on a new perspective when tackling existing problems, exercising professional judgment based on analysis
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and leaders across the business to understand the business needs and deliver on those needs
• Participate in cross functional projects like system implementations and process redesigns

Qualifications

• 4 + of experience in finance or related field preferred ·
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration preferred ·
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint required
• Knowledge of PBCS (Hyperion) loading and retrieving is a plus
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven record as a team player
• CPA/CFA certification preferred
