Equinix is seeking a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer with a strong focus on Digital Experience to join our Bangalore office. In this role, you will design, build, and launch scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements using a state-of-the-art technology stack and best engineering practices. You will be responsible for building critical applications and features at a global scale, delivering a world-class experience for the Equinix procurement function. 

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Developer with strong expertise in Oracle SaaS and PaaS platforms including OIC, VBCS, and OPA, and hands-on knowledge of Oracle AI capabilities such as Agent Studio. The candidate should bring solid technical depth in Oracle Cloud development and integration, while also leveraging AI and Generative AI to drive innovation, automation, and intelligent enterprise solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations, extensions, and custom apps using OIC, VBCS, and OPA. 

  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable Oracle SaaS/PaaS solutions. 

  • Build system integrations using REST/SOAP services, FBDI, and ADF DI. 

  • Develop reports and analytics using BI Publisher, OTBI, and related Oracle reporting tools. 

  • Apply Oracle AI services (e.g., Agent Studio) to optimize workflows, automate processes, and deliver AI-driven insights. 

  • Explore and integrate Generative AI and modern AI/ML technologies to enhance user experience, reporting, and process automation. 

  • Ensure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standards. 

  • Knowledge and experience of using CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and release management. 

  • Support solution deployment and troubleshooting across Dev, SIT, and UAT environments. 

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in Oracle Cloud and AI-driven development. 

Required Qualifications 

  • 4 - 8 years of experience designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade applications using Oracle SaaS/PaaS (OIC, VBCS, OPA). 

  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), and Oracle Policy Automation (OPA). 

  • Proven track record of delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud technical solutions. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle SaaS modules (Finance, SCM, Procurement). 

  • Expertise in PL/SQL, REST/SOAP Web Services, and FBDI-based integrations. 

  • Experience in BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View for reporting. 

  • Solid grasp of software engineering best practices: version control, CI/CD, automated testing.  

  • Proficiency in Oracle AI tools – Agent Studio is a plus. 

  • Hands-on experience with AI integration into Oracle Cloud solutions is a plus. 

  • Experience with SaaS applications Coupa, Fieldglass is a plus  

  • Ability to work asynchronously across teams and time zones with excellent communication and influence skills.  

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
