• Identify improvements to existing product processes and develop a strong understanding of related business processes, data flows, and technology dependencies.

Product Strategy, Vision, and Roadmap

• Support product strategy and roadmap development by translating Finance stakeholder needs into prioritized product capabilities.

• Complete ad-hoc assignments that help shape product direction, backlog priorities, and delivery sequencing.

Market, Business, and Customer Analysis

• Research business needs, stakeholder pain points, reporting gaps, and opportunities to improve Finance data products and analytics outcomes.

• Prepare analysis and recommendations related to financial position, operational needs, and product value.

Business Case and Value Definition

• Collaborate on business cases, opportunity reviews, and financial models with more senior team members and Finance stakeholders.

• Define measurable success criteria and product value drivers, including adoption, efficiency, quality, and stakeholder impact.

Data Analytics and BI Enablement

• Use data analytics to define metrics, interpret trends, identify insights, and inform product decisions.

• Partner with BI, analytics, and engineering teams to support dashboards, reporting, semantic layer needs, and self-service analytics capabilities.

• BI capability is a plus, including experience with dashboards, reporting tools, semantic layers, data visualization, or self-service analytics.

Technical Partnership and SQL

• Apply SQL experience and technical background to partner effectively with data engineering, analytics, and business teams.

• Help clarify data requirements, validate logic, support UAT, and communicate technical concepts in business-friendly language.

Backlog Prioritization and Delivery Execution

• Support backlog refinement, requirements elaboration, prioritization, dependency tracking, and delivery readiness.

• Collaborate closely with technology teams to ensure requirements are actionable, testable, and aligned to business outcomes.

Test Case Definition and UAT Coordination

• Refine allowable configurations, define test cases, coordinate UAT, validate outputs, and support stakeholder sign-off.

• Document decisions, open questions, risks, and follow-up actions to drive alignment and delivery transparency.

Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Manage stakeholder expectations within and across Finance, data engineering, analytics, operations, and other cross-functional teams.

• Proactively include the right stakeholders, communicate clearly, and support training or enablement where needed.

Qualifications and Ramp Expectations

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

• Financial acumen and working knowledge of Finance business processes, with the ability to translate Finance needs into product requirements and data solutions.

• Hands-on SQL experience and a strong technical background.

 AI data product solutions experience

• Data analytics experience, including defining metrics, interpreting trends, and using data to inform decisions.

• BI capability is a plus, including exposure to dashboards, reporting tools, semantic layers, or self-service analytics.

• Self-learner and self-starter who can ramp quickly, take ownership, and operate independently with appropriate guidance.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, cross-functional dependencies, and delivery timelines.

• Experience managing product development end to end, from discovery and requirements through prioritization, delivery, testing, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Success Profile

• Strong communicator who can bridge Finance, business, analytics, and technical teams.

• Structured problem solver who can break ambiguous needs into clear requirements, priorities, and delivery actions.

• Collaborative partner who values transparency, proactive follow-up, and stakeholder alignment.
