Job Summary

Serve as the primary local point of contact for the Regional Physical Security Enablement Team, supporting physical security systems such as AMAG, kiosks, security workstations, and related technologies in coordination with local service providers. This role applies strong technical knowledge and sound judgment to support security infrastructure, customer requirements, incident response, audits, and operational projects. Work closely with the Equinix Korea Data Center Operations Compliance team and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for related compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support maintenance and troubleshooting of security-related equipment and systems where required

  • Evaluate and manage service providers related to physical security (e.g., security guards, access control, CCTV, NVR Server and etc)

  • Assist with the preparation for K-ISMS and ISO 27001 external audits

Incident Management

  • Respond to on-site security incidents and operational events, including security system failures, access control issues, and service disruptions

  • Support incident investigations, reporting, and root cause analysis activities

  • Apply knowledge of the security incident decision matrix and support incident declarations with the Equinix Operations Center (EOC)

  • Coordinate with stakeholders on Internal Incident Reports (IIRs) and Post Incident Reports (PIRs) as required

  • Assist with the implementation of corrective actions and operational improvements resulting from incident reviews

Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Support the operation and maintenance of physical security systems, including Access Control Systems (ACS) and Video Management Systems (VMS)

  • Investigate and resolve security system faults, condition reports, and operational issues in accordance with site standards and procedures

  • Support preventive maintenance programs, system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities

  • Coordinate security asset inventory and IP address management for security devices and infrastructure

  • Support security infrastructure projects and system enhancements that improve site security and operational effectiveness

  

Vendor Management

  • Coordinate vendor activities supporting customer security deployments and site security infrastructure

  • Review vendor work and monitor activities to ensure compliance with site procedures, safety requirements, and operational standards

  • Assist in maintaining documentation and records associated with security systems and vendor activities

Compliance and Audit Support

  • Support security audits (internal and external) across all sites within scope

  • Serve as the SME for physical security matters and provide support to the Operations Compliance team

  • Work with site management teams and third-party auditors to support internal and external audit activities

Qualifications

  • Typically 2+ years of experience in Information Security, IT, data center operations, critical infrastructure or a related technical environment

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for business purposes
