Job Summary:
New role dedicated to the xScale business which will provide operational support to the sites within APAC as well as partnering and collaborating with other teams globally within both xScale and Retail in order to help drive consistency and efficiency as xScale continues to grow at an exponential rate.


Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and assisting in preparing xScale site teams as they prepare to take building from Design and Construction.

  • Collaboratively work with cross functional teams such as GCCX, Global Ops Enablement, Operations to help prepare site to onboard customers.

  • Collectively work with the wider xScale team and key stake holders in identifying areas of improvement and processes that need documenting or adapting.

  • Responsible for KPI reporting, identifying variances and documenting any narrative around incidents, fluctuations etc

  • Reporting of Incidents to the xScale team and wider teams where necessary

  • Aligning with Construction teams and reporting back details around any delays to ready for service date or customer handover date.

  • Working with system tool owners to improve efficiency and accuracy around reporting of sites

  • Assisting in the undertaking of small projects where necessary, in instances where specific focus/attention is required in order to drive consistency and efficiency within xScale.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good command of English

  • Relevant experience withing a data centre environment directly preferred

  • Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and workload

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced changing environment as xScale expands

  • Experience with working with cross functional teams beneficial.

  • Proven background in relationship building.

  • IT Proficiency applications – MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Understanding of Operational Functionalities and processes an advantage

  • Confident in participating in conversations with Senior Management

  • Strong ability to take a pragmatic and commercial approach. Able to multi-task and work with limited supervision.

  • Flexible working hours – able to join adhoc meetings that fall outside of working hours – only required in the instance that global attendance is needed.
