You will be member of the team responsible for Global Networks Service Delivery engineering operations for InterConnection and Edge services
Responsible to evaluate Interconnections and Edge services product features for network operations support needs and impact
Use your network knowledge and experience to quickly learn the network configuration models used to configure new services and features on service platform networking equipment (routers, switches, network function virtual routers)
Provide input into user interface, product design and sprint reviews with the focus on product and features debuggability, supportability and customer experience
Create user acceptance test cases, execute tests and document defects while also supporting regional Global Networks participation in the testing cycle Work with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineering to add support requirement features and acceptance criteriaWork with release program managers to coordinate and prepare user acceptance testing (UAT)
Partner with regional Network Change Management and Global Customer Care representatives to develop new support processes and procedures
Use your strong technical, writing and communication skills to produce training materials and deliver training presentations to regional Service Management teams
Serve as an escalation point to Tier 3 support teams after the product and features are in production
Use your background in network operations and customer technical support to build understanding and trust with regional NOCs and Change Management subject matter experts
Participate in new product proof of concept trials by helping support initial customers
3+ Years Experience in Networking
Hands on exposure to routers and switches from one or more vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nokia etc required
Support and network experience including advanced switching, routing, and cloud computing. Network Operations Center or advanced network service experience for a network service provider highly desired
Experience testing features, products and solution validation before the customer release
Background in network automation orchestration and hands on experience of handling Virtualized Network Function, Open Stack highly desired
Open to change. We are often balancing between speed of deployment and process in a rapidly evolving work environment so you must be resourceful, flexible, and open to change
Strong teamwork and communication skills to work and collaborate with team members in different regions
AWS, Azure or OpenStack certification is desirable
Good understanding of Software Defined Networking or Cloud computing technologies and associated network services is a plus
Schedule flexibility is necessary to work with global teams
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
Full CCNA (Working towards CCNP, JNCIA Desirable)
