Job Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a manager to join our FP&A, Customer & Revenue Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting the sales function reporting to the Director of Global CR Finance. You will enjoy building relationships and is expected to deliver high quality, relevant, timely and accurate financial and non-financial information to enable key decision making. You will support the goals of the FP&A team by utilizing a combination of these disciplines: forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis. The Manager will work with business leaders to understand their needs, quantify the impact of decisions, and articulate a recommendation to management. You understand accounting policies, have strong executive business partnering skills, and proficient financial analysis and modeling skills.
Responsibilities
Business support to senior finance & sales leaders
Be a key player in the annual budget cycle, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting of: expenses, commissions, headcount, bookings and churn metrics
Support the sales reforecast and bookings process
Coordinate with regional FP&A teams in the Americas, Europe and Asia
Build a strong relationship with the sales compensation team and provide financial insights in relation to sales performance and corresponding commission payouts
Work both independently and with the team to build, modify, and update a suite of company metric reports and dashboards to identify trends and key drivers of the business
Discovers the best sources for data, ad hoc reports and analysis, and presents a summary of findings to management
Ability to build financial models for scenario analysis regarding potential business decisions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred · Master's degree (MBA) preferred
7+ years relevant experience in FP&A
CPA/CFA certification preferred
Experience in supporting a sales function with knowledge of commissions and bookings advantageous
Proven management reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting experience in a multinational environment
Strong communication & presentation skills with the ability to engage with senior business leaders
Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
Ability to direct and influence resources without direct reporting relationships
Exercise judgment based on financial analysis using proven analytical skills and multiple sources of information
Experienced user of financial systems, Oracle, Hyperion, database, or other reporting tools
Organized, strategically focused, detail oriented, self-starter. Able to deal with ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment
A team player who can work with stakeholders in other functions to achieve objectives
