An opportunity has arisen to join the Field Marketing team in Australia, reporting to the Marketing Lead out of Asia (based in Singapore).
The field marketing manager will develop and execute digital acquisition and demand gen programs for Equinix in Australia, and play a critical role in supporting the growth objectives of the business with integrated programs. The candidate will be required to be proficient in project management skills to execute campaigns to a high standard and provide transparency and visibility on progress to a remote management team and be the point of contact for local AU stakeholders. This will include creating and executing plans for key initiatives, reporting for risk and milestone achievements, analysing campaign effectiveness, and making recommendations for improving performance to achieve team KPIs. The role is largely autonomous and will require self-motivation in the success of team outcomes.
A key aspect will be the contribution to team KPIs resulting from the successful execution of rolling 6/12-month solution, vertical, and product specific campaigns aimed at driving new lead generation. The plans will use a variety of marketing vehicles (digital tactics, SEM, ABM, content syndication, eDM, social, customer references and virtual events) and will involve cross function collaboration with the broader APAC and Global HQ centralised marketing functions.
This role will require strong collaboration and written communication skills in creating compelling key messages for our target segments with help from our technical experts. A conceptual understanding of cloud computing, colocation, and digital transformation will be used in content development.
Digital expertise, campaign management experience, and analytical strengths will be required to optimise marketing performance. The field marketing manager will implement a regular operational cadence to review results within marketing and across sales to ensure lead quality and progression to attain revenue uplift from marketing.
Innovation and new ideas to improve processes, campaigns and results will be welcomed alongside the measurement of key metrics and use of analytics in evaluating campaign performance.
