Job Summary: In this role, you will have an opportunity to design the internal look and feel of Equinix DataCenters and office space across the Americas region.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from Schematic Design through Construction completion as Job Capitan or Project Manager:
Lead and coordinate consultant design team (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, etc.)
Manage schedule to meet milestones and deadlines
Construction Administration:
Understands constructability issues
Able to field check construction for conformance with permit drawings
Able to identify future maintenance issues and propose solution
Responding to RFIs (Request for Information)
Reviewing submittals
Project Management
Leads and manages a complex project or initiative
Provides guidance and project leadership ensuring project or other initiatives are meeting or exceeding company expectations
Vendor and internal Client Relations
Directs external vendors per project or initiative such as general contractors, A&E design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
Internal client management
Leverage clear communication to set expectations and provide updates
Qualifications
Understanding of materials and colors in design
Able to improve the impression and usability of a space through design
Understanding of Constructability issues
Generally, familiar with the requirements in IBC (International Building Code), and able to search the codes for specific application
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D required. Revit preferred
Adobe Illustrator and Adobe In Design preferred
Creative problem Solving
Bi-Lingual English/Spanish verbal and written skills preferred
Architecture licensure preferred
Structural knowledge/background preferred
Graphic Arts experience or knowledge preferred

For CO residents: In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for this role is $89K – $124K per year with 20% bonus target.
