Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow, hands-on knowledge & prior experience implementing ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, ITSM capabilities along with strong ServiceNow technical platform foundation skills. The candidate should bring solid technical depth in ServiceNow development and integrations along with strong functional knowledge of areas like Customer Service, Asset Management and Service Management. Candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture, design and implement major solutions in ServiceNow at Equinix

 

Responsibilities

  • Engages in scrum meetings, activities

  • Participates and leads architectural reviews and end to end process

  • Understand business requirements and proposes ServiceNow solutions

  • Owns development and delivery of the ServiceNow solutions

  • Owns Design and build of integrations with ServiceNow

  • Conducts design reviews, provide technical leadership

  • Works with stakeholder for architectural decisions and solutions

  • Ensure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standards

  • Maintain architectural standard, process, and documentation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or technology or equivalent field

  • 10+ years of industry proven overall experience, with minimum of 5 years in ServiceNow, including CMDB

  • Proven / Hands-on experience in delivering ServiceNow solutions

 

Must-Have Skills

  • Advance level of experience and knowledge ServiceNow Platform

  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery

  • Strong technical knowledge (UI Actions, Imports, transforms, Menus, workflows, catalog requests etc.)

  • Strong technical knowledge (Scripting, Business Rules, Jobs etc. )

  • Experience with Mid-server, CMDB data models, classes, relationship, configurations with Discovery 

  • Experience with Web services, Integration protocols, integration hub/spokes, SOAP/REST based APIs 

  • Well versed with ITSM concepts (change, problem, incidents)

  • Well versed or experienced with Event Management processes

  • Understanding of CSM (Customer Service Management) in ServiceNow

  • Strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, client server scripting in ServiceNow

 

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro CSS, HTML & Jelly

  • Experience with Customer Service Management and Service portal

 

Differentiator skills

  • ServiceNow Certified - System Administrator and ITOM Implementation

  • Any external integration platform knowledge or experience, e.g. Boomi, TIBCO

  • Any additional analytical, data skills. ServiceNow dashboard and reporting

  • AI and machine learning skills with or outside of ServiceNow
