Job Summary

The role will partner with Tax business group to ensure delivery of end-to-end business application solutions aligned to the business and IT strategy, as well as the support of those applications. Works with business groups to define their global technology roadmaps. Manages projects from inception to completion within global teams.

 

Responsibilities

  • Capture, document and validate tax and transfer pricing related business and user requirements, predominantly to support design, develop and deploy tax technology

  • Candidate with experience implementing/working on Oracle Tax Reporting Cloud (TRCS) or similar solutions is preferred. Experience in implementing transfer pricing system solutions would be preferred. Knowledge in Oracle financials, Oracle PBCS will be added advantage

  • Experience in understanding End to End Systems involving Oracle Financials, Oracle tax reporting cloud (TRCS) and transfer pricing

  • Experience in working on reconciliation and analysis of tax data

  • Translate business requirements into functional solution design options and interface with the development teams to ensure all business requirements and functional designs are understood and delivered as desired

  • Work closely with team spread across globally and should possess excellent communication skill in the Tax domain

  • Partner with Tax team to review their Automation requirements and collaborate with various teams for design and delivery

  • Create and manage application functional test plans and test cases from use cases for requirements traceability, systems testing and UAT testing

  • Application SIT Testing, defect tracking, defect resolution, ongoing status reporting

  • Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands

  • Manage ongoing relationship with business partners to drive satisfaction with IT

  • Train the users and provide go-live support

  • Respond to and address user requests via ticketing process preferable to have experience in Service now, HP ALM and/or Jira tools

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in Business System Analyst / Functional Consultant experience within Agile/Waterfall environment desired. 5+ years’ experience in tax IT domain preferred covering direct tax and transfer pricing (Optional)

  • Broad IT domain experience preferably in following IT areas: Direct Tax (Mandatory), Oracle EBS / Cloud financials

  • Direct tax experience working within IT such as corporate income tax, tax provision and operational transfer pricing

  • 5+ years’ experience with Solution Design

  • Ability to interface with business application users at all levels to ensure that proper customer requirements are captured and understood

  • Experience implementing projects for Tax business in a global environment preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication

  • Must have hands on experience in authoring functional Design document and possess high problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related field
