Responsibilities
As Channel Sales Executive, you will be a part of our existing Inside Sales team focused on developing and selling with Equinix’s focused partners, through activities including:
Relationship Management – Develop strong relationships throughout the partner organization
Go to market planning - Build measurable and target focused plans to ensure quantifiable success with each of your partners
Marketing and Demand Generation - Work closely with both Marketing and Business Development teams to drive new opportunities with your partner base
Pipeline Growth and Management – Manage and forecast opportunities accurately
Build join offerings - create join offerings to take to market through structured workshops
Sales Training – Ensure that the Partner can effectively position and sell Equinix solutions and benefits
Recruit and develop new partners into the Equinix Program
Qualification
A successful candidate is someone that:
Has previous channel experience
Has the ability to quickly form profitable relationships with external and internal teams
Strong business acumen who can quickly understand the partners go to market
Can demonstrate consistent quota attainment (preferably) in the hosting, managed services, cloud or colocation business
Possesses consultative selling skills with a strong understanding of the Data Center industry, network connectivity or hybrid public/ private cloud
Strong Communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team
High energy, strong prospecting with proven qualification and closing skills
Ability to maintain a pipeline, track activity and have effective time management skills
Fluent in English and German (orally and written) is required
