Job Summary

Mid-level InfoSec Engineer with experience in IT security areas including applications, systems and network. May also have experience in audit, compliance and governance.

Responsibilities

Security Architecture

  • Fields, receives and reviews security architecture requests from internal customers

  • Assists in reviewing and assessing adherence of new security architectures to guidelines and rejecting if said architectures do not meet requirements

  • Researches security best practices for networks, systems and applications

  • Reports and makes recommendations to senior members of the architecture team for policy revisions, changes and additions

Security Engineering

  • Executes proofs of concepts

  • Evaluates and scores vendor solutions against use cases for final vendor selection

  • Manages towards project timelines, executing on deliverables in partnership with internal networking and infrastructure teams

  • Provides technical status reports to management

  • Responsible for anticipating technical roadblocks and escalating issues

  • Responsible for managing all technical aspects of implementation

  • Executes on the implementation of new security solutions for the enterprise

Security Operations

  • Responsible for day-to-day security operations, 24/7/365

  • Operates and troubleshoots next-generation firewalls, cloud web proxy, mobile device management systems, endpoint security, vulnerability management systems, intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS) systems, and security incident event management (SIEM)

Security Incident Response

  • Responsible for day-to-day security incident response, 24/7/365

  • Investigates, researches and analyzes security incidents as they are escalated or reported

  • Uses established procedures for remediation of incidents, escalating as needed for additional guidance

Security Policy & Compliance

  • Responsible for following process to publish global IT security policies

  • Triages and resolves basic customer security inquiries per documented guidelines

  • Executes against enterprise compliance road-map

  • Follows documented guidelines to ensure adherence to compliance goals

  • Researches international regulations for information security and privacy and provides insight to management on possible policy changes or specific security controls

Cloud Security

  • Responsible for following process to publish global IT cloud security policies

  • Triages and resolves basic customer security inquiries per documented guidelines

  • Executes against cloud compliance road-map

  • Follows documented guidelines to ensure adherence to cloud compliance goals

  • Researches international regulations for cloud security and privacy and provides insight to management on possible policy changes or specific cloud security controls

Qualifications

  • Proven years of experience

  • Bachelor's preferred

  • Certification in SANS (GPEN), SANS (GCIH) and SANS (GCED) preferred

Additional information:
This team operates in a shift-based work model.
This position requires working Sunday through Wednesday. The start time is flexible (between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM), with 10 working hours per day.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Poland - Warsaw Office WAO : 173,000 - 277,000 PLN / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
