Job Summary: Lead IT Product Management/ Business Engagement for Data Center (IBX) Analytics, Marketing Analytics, and Product Analytics. Lead analytics products to deliver faster time to insight with delightful data discovery experience. This role will closely partner with business executives, business subject matter experts, Data Science team, Data Platform, and Data Engineering team. The role will lead analytics products like Propensity to buy, customer segmentations, Data Center capacity predictions, Data center operations optimization, Network utilization. product performance, digital experience.
Develop a Product Strategy in alignment with Strategic business goals, and short term/long term priorities
Build products with a laser focus on ease of use, time to insights, and a delightful experience to users to drive data driven decision making
Develop, own, and socialize a Product roadmap by balancing short term and long-term customer goals , and IT capacity
Productize Analytics services such as - Self Service Datasets, Dashboards, Analytics Portals, Insights, Reporting, Data catalogs, Data curation, and governance into tangible products
Be curious, constantly understand “tough questions”, “Use cases” from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable, and intuitive analytic products
Drive your team to perform exploratory / correlation analysis to unlock opportunities, and engage with business with the context. Drive product capabilities using data insights
Drive requirements through cross functional collaborations, connect dots from different requirements sources to produce lean products that can serve multiple stakeholders for a longer horizon
Collect meaningful feedback from end users and incorporate those into features backlog as part of continuous improvement
Drive AI/ML projects with a close collaboration with Business and Data Science team. Lead hypothesis building, business value proposal, use cases, feature definitions, functional validations of models, visualizations, and story telling
Drive adoption through self explanatory product features along with supporting training and change management
Drive matured engagement and deepen relationship with the key business stakeholders, and peer IT groups (Apps, Architecture, and Infrastructure)
Manage and develop a strategic relationship with Software vendors, and SIs.
Collaborate with Executives, and senior leaders with the business context, analytics insights, and domain expertise
Build a team of Product Managers, and Data Analysts. Coach team to bring in Procut Management culture to empathize with end users, and build customer centric product features using agile methodologies
Coach you team to become Analytic Translator to translate business questions into Analytics products, and a crisp story teller to communicate value to customers
Define OKRs and drive the team towards achieving those while helping them to succeed and holding yourself and the team accountable
Build and manage budgets driven by business priorities, and business value
Strategize locations, professional services, FTE, and staff augmentation to optimize the budget ask
Data driven story telling ability
Set right expectations with the stakeholders with crispness and clarity
Lead QBRs, user forums, and reporting to Executives
Manage and develop relationships with SIs, and Software vendors
Facilitate conversation between all impacted stakeholders to bring clarity
Drive innovation, keep yourself current with analytics and data science.
Become a trusted strategic technology advisor for your business partners
Build strategic relationship with platform vendors to influence features that will accelerate analytics value at Equinix
5+ years of experience leading Analytics products with a proven adoption, 10+ years of experience leading products desired
Bachelor's in Engineering preferred, Master's degree in Engineering/Business or related is desired
Demonstrated experience in building analytics products for Marketing Analytics, Operations analytics, and Product analytics. Deeper experience in at least one domain is expected
Experience with building analytics on systems like Salesforce, Marketo, CPQ, Siebel, Network Operations, Oracle or similar systems
Demonstrated experience with Exploratory and Diagnostics analytic using statistical techniques like Regressions, correlations, classification, Anomaly detection or Hypothesis testing to drive insights
Curious, humble, and and ready to learn next thing and apply it to the real world problem
Strong Executive presence with a proven track record of delivering Analytic products
Result oriented with an ability to take end to end ownership
Top notch Presentation and Story Telling skills
Demonstrated delivering insights by identifying AI/ML needs, and driving data science projects
Adequate knowledge of statistical methods, ML algorithms, business domain and visualization to lead

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $135,000 - $185,000 per year with 30% bonus target.
