Job Summary
We’re looking for a strong Electrical Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of operations at one of our key sites. Acquires job skills to resolve routine tasks requiring limited judgement. Focus is on routine tasks, using limited judgement of standard operating
Responsibilities
Performs semi‑routine preventative maintenance, repairs, installations,
and responds to BMS alarms for non‑critical facility systems.
Coordinates with vendors and supports the work‑order approval process
to ensure maintenance activities follow Equinix standards
Completes semi‑routine site logs, permits, and administrative tasks in line
with operating procedures
Executes semi‑routine work orders and circuit installations, troubleshoots
basic equipment and assists senior staff during onsite incidents.
Collaborates with colleagues to resolve facility incidents, supports infrastructure
projects, and keeps stakeholders informed on inventory needs.
This position requires working rotating shifts within a 24/7 model.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Electrical or Mechanical Engineer Education
2–3+ years facilities experience
Technical diploma + experience accepted
English B1+ (spoken & written)
34 kV MV switchgear experience (preferrable)
