Job Summary

We’re looking for a strong Critical Facilities Engineer to take ownership of operation an improving critical infrastructure system. The role demands technical expertise, independent decision-making, leading small-scale projects, developing engineering standards and collaboration with teams and vendors
 

Responsibilities

  • Help keep our facility’s electrical and mechanical systems in great shape by assisting with maintenance tasks
  • Learn how to check the building and data center alarms to ensure everything is working properly
  • Support the team in making sure regular maintenance is done on important equipment
  • Gain skills in fixing equipment and performing repairs
  • Keep track of site logs and gather important information for permits—this is a key part of your role!
  • Work alongside experienced staff to respond to any on-site issues and follow their guidance
  • Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs
  • Get involved in ongoing projects, like upgrading lighting and other small tasks
  • Help resolve customer requests using our ticket system
  • Report any health and safety concerns to your supervisor
  • Identifies Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and makes recommendations.
  • Responds to all moderately difficult on-site incidents, including failures, problems and delays.
  • In cooperation with vendors, supports modifications to technical files for plants and equipment ensuring files
  • and builds are up-to-date.
  • Prepare deliverables aligned with client scope and proposal
  • Coordinate with all disciplines to integrate work and client requests
  • Assist with reviews of shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, site reports, punch lists, and coordination meetings

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in industrial/commercial engineering in mission 
  • critical facilities including but not limited to: datacenters, 
  • power generation or oil/gas facilities
  • Experience reading/interpreting, and creating construction 
  • drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
  • Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, 
  • development, and into deployment or mass production
  • Experience with EPMS/SCADA/BMS Controls system
  • software or hardware.
  • Minimum B2 level in English proficiency
