Job Summary
Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team.
Responsibilities
Management
Provides immediate supervision to semi-skilled support team members. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team
Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and training
Project / Infrastructure Site Management
Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers
Executes specified routine tasks. Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan
Provides input and guidance towards budget
Overall site capacity supervision
Vendor Management
Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards
Testing
Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems
Incident Management
Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent work experience (5+)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Gestion des projets et des infrastructures
Planifie, coordonne, budgétise et met en œuvre les ressources pour mener à bien les projets et la maintenance au sein des centres de données
Exécute les tâches de routine exigées. S’assure que les unités atteignent leurs cibles selon un plan hebdomadaire
Fournit des commentaires et des conseils au sujet des budgets
Gère la capacité de tout le site
Gestion des fournisseurs
Supervise le travail des entrepreneurs et veille à ce que les normes requises par Equinix soient respectées
Tests
Apporte son aide dans le cadre de tests de démarrage et de la description et du signalement de tout problème
Gestion des incidents
Communique et effectue la coordination dans le cadre d’activités sur place lors d’un incident
Qualités requises
Au moins cinq années d’expérience connexe ou d’une expérience de travail pertinente (5+)
