Job Summary
As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and success of our quote to cash subdomains. Reporting directly to the corresponding Experience Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that the team delivers maximum value to the business and our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, translate these into actionable user stories, and ensure the successful implementation of product initiatives.
Sub- Domain Focus Area: Markerting: Lead mgmt, Campaign mgmt, Segmentation, Demand Generation, Brand and Content mgmt, Agentic AI
Know your customer(s) and influence the roadmap
Represent the voice of the user with respect to [domain, value stream] features
Coordinate work with UX designers to develop and improve user experience for [domain] stakeholders and users
Coordinate roadmap and feature dependencies with [experience] Product Manager and other Domain Product Owners
Manage and prioritize the scrum backlog
Translate epics into user stories, refining level of detail so that engineering teams can develop features and accurately estimate level of effort
Work with engineers and designers to clarify requirements and delivery expectations with business stakeholders
Lead scrum sprint planning to prioritize user stories based on user impact, business needs, technical complexity, level of effort and available resourcing
Define good confidence release deliverables for each release at PI Meetings and create [domain] feature release plan
Enable teams to deliver value
Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure that backlog items meet the definition of readiness to enter sprint
Ensure that each feature has a clear definition of done, coordinate user acceptance tests, collect and act on feedback throughout development and testing
Define and track [domain] metrics to measure success. Utilize measurements to guide prioritization
Coordinate with Agile coach to get regular feedback on Agile best practices for themselves and the team members
Document user processes and evolve solution design
Partner with the scrum team members to ensure both user-level business process/requirements and technical requirements for [domain] are documented
Collaborate with training and change teams to ensure workflows & standard operating procedures are developed for front line users
Responsibilities
Own the Subdomain Product Backlog
Collaborate with the Experience Product Managers to define and prioritize the product backlog for your respective subdomain
Clearly articulate and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and other requirements
Ensure that the backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders
Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and strategic objectives
Work with development teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure continuous improvement
Provide clear guidance on the expected outcome and work with the team to meet the Definition of done
Determine and pursue the optimal
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement
Gather and prioritize customer requirements through regular interaction and feedback
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are effectively managed
Communicate product updates, progress, and plans to stakeholders and the broader organization
Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Experience Product Managers and other Product Owners to ensure alignment and coherence across the product domains
Work with upstream and downstream teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal end-to-end experience
Engage with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
Drive Continuous Improvement
Analyze product performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
Advocate for and implement best practices in product management and agile methodologies
Continuously refine and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in a product owner or similar role
Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies, particularly in large organizations
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with quote-to-cash systems and transformation is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
SalesForce Marketing Cloud Implementation Experience is a plus
This posting is a new position within our organization.
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 131,000 - 181,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
