Job Summary
Reporting to the VP, Organizational Effectiveness (OE), this role operates as a strategic organization and talent partner, working across the HR team and with executive business leadership and their teams to unlock organizational potential, scale our OE practice capabilities and develop and deliver OE strategies that drive measurable impact and strong business outcomes.
As Director, Org and Talent Partner, you’ll be a thought leader in the strategic design and implementation of new and reimagined talent practices as well as serve as an extension of the People Team Centers of Excellence (COEs) in how these initiatives come to life within our global business and enhance our overall effectiveness. You will play a critical role in leading the successful development, delivery and adoption of talent initiatives in the areas of organizational design and effectiveness, talent strategy and planning, performance management, leadership development and succession management, cultural transformation, employee engagement, and more.
Working closely with executives and a People Partner team (comprised of HR Business Partners, an OE Partner, a Business Compensation Partner and an Integrated Talent Solutions Partner), you’ll help the business adapt to changing environments and markets by identifying and helping address organizational and capability gaps at the enterprise, functional and leadership level – and then deploying talent strategies and solutions to enhance those capabilities.
Responsibilities
Is a subject matter expert in Organizational Effectiveness, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and cross-functional HR teams as well as with business executives on organizational and talent practices to drive effective and efficient growth and strategy execution
Contributes to the development of and leads the successful execution of critical talent rhythm processes, including talent strategy and planning, performance management, succession management, etc.
Conduct organizational assessments and diagnose issues and opportunities for improvement, then design and facilitate interventions to enhance organizational performance and effectiveness
Provide strategic consultation on all components of organizational design-related processes, leveraging data analytics and insights to inform the talent strategy, identify gaps and opportunities, and architect solutions
Contributes to the ongoing development and consistent application of our Equinix organizational transformation strategy, framework and principles, and continually tests materials with HR team members and business leaders – maintains a community of best practice sharing, driving to a culture of develop once, replicate often
Proactively monitors and tracks performance / trends on organization health as well effectiveness of talent motions and interventions; shares learnings and insights back with business leaders and HR teams to drive continuous improvement
Collaborates with Integrated Talent Solutions leaders to identify and develop internal and external talent pipelines and hiring plans in support of organizational needs
Designs and delivers training and development programs in partnership with our talent development COE to build organizational capabilities
Qualifications
10 - 15 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational design, or a similar role
Master's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred
Proven track record of successfully delivering organizational development initiatives at an enterprise level and on a global scale
Strong knowledge and skills in organizational development methodologies, tools, and frameworks; demonstrated ability to design, develop and implement a range of organizational effectiveness initiatives, operating models, governance structures, organizational design efforts and change management
A high degree of adaptability, systems thinking capability and ability to effectively navigate the organization with sound business acumen and exceptional consulting skills
Decisive in leading oneself and others through ambiguity; strong decision-making skills and creative in solutioning
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and influence positive outcomes, including with executive level leadership
Ability to think strategically and analytically, and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to solve complex problems

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 154,000 - 232,000 CAD / Annual
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 177,000 - 265,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
