Data Centers are considered Critical Facilities. This means that we support hospitals, laboratories, and public safety centers. Simply put - We cannot go dark. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for troubleshoots and installing sophisticated circuits and performing custom installations.

Responsibilities
Racks and stacks customer equipment
Reads installation plans (Visio Drawings / Spreadsheets) and implements installation accordingly
Installs circuits requiring sophisticated fiber terminations
Resolves work priorities from a ticketing queue and ensures adherence to all contributing times
Troubleshoots switched/multiplexed / media converted circuits; escalates to, and works with a networking group, as needed
Works with customers to troubleshoot issues
Installs/tests/modifies cross-connects per SOPs and ensures accurate cable management of coax, fiber, twisted-pair copper, and intra-building cross-connects
Installs and tests sophisticated cross-connect circuits (switched, multiplexed, etc.)
Maintains detailed written records of all work activity
Designs and leads cage/infrastructure modification projects
Completes all assigned training in a timely manner
Supports customer happiness through timely and detailed order execution
Qualifications
High School Diploma
A natural curiosity and strong troubleshooting skills
Experience working in a critical facility where failure is not an option
Willingness to learn and adhere to protocols and processes in place.
Strong system level mechanical or electrical proficiency
You are capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and are agile in manual dexterity (climb, stoop, et.) with or without accommodation.
24/7 Operation - Your flexibility to work any assigned shift, off-schedule, fill in for workmates and respond to emergencies, etc.
The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
• California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $49,000 to $77,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
