Build your career where safety, technology and impact come together

At Equinix, we power the digital world—and keeping our people safe is at the heart of everything we do.

As a Compliance Operations Senior Analyst, you’ll support Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) across our Netherlands sites, you would be part of our EMEA West Team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in real operational environments, working alongside experienced teams to ensure safe, compliant, and continuously improving ways of working.

This role is ideal if you’re early in your career (for example, a graduate or someone with limited experience in telecoms, engineering, data centres, or industrial environments) and want to build specialist expertise in Health & Safety but we are also open to those with more experience.

What you’ll do

  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of Health & Safety and compliance programmes across multiple sites
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure safe and compliant operations, aligned to Dutch legislation (Arbowet)
  • Carry out site inspections, audits, and assurance activities to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis, helping drive meaningful and practical improvements
  • Contribute to risk assessments (RI&E), safety procedures, and management system documentation
  • Support internal and external compliance audits (e.g. ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) and follow-up actions
  • Analyse safety data and contribute to reporting on risks, incidents, and improvement actions
  • Work with teams and partners to strengthen safety culture and safe behaviours on-site
  • Identify opportunities to make processes safer, simpler, and more effective

What you’ll bring

  • A degree or early career experience in Health & Safety, Engineering, Telecoms and across critical fields
  • Experience in a technical or operational environment (or strong internship/placement experience)
  • Understanding of Dutch Health & Safety legislation (Arbowet and Arbobesluit) or a strong willingness to develop in this area
  • Exposure to audits, inspections, risk assessments, or ISO standards is a plus
  • Fluent Dutch and English (essential for this role)
  • A structured, problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail
  • Confidence working with operational teams and communicating practical, real-world safety guidance
  • Relevant qualification (e.g. MVK or working towards) is advantageous

Why this role is a great next step

  • Build real, hands-on EHS experience in a critical infrastructure environment
  • Work on live safety challenges across multiple sites, not just theory
  • Learn from experienced EHS professionals and develop specialist expertise
  • Gain exposure to international standards, audits, and compliance frameworks
  • Clear development opportunities within Health & Safety and Compliance at Equinix

We Offer:

  • A competitive salary based on knowledge and experience
  • 27 days of leave with the option to purchase 3 additional days
  • An opportunity to learn and in a supportive environment!
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan and Company Pension Plan
  • Subsidised lunch provided on location (voluntary opt in)
