Business Analysis Manager, Channel Sales

We are looking for a seasoned individual who is excited about making a difference in a fast growing company with a strategic focus on Channel Sales. This role will work as part of our Global Sales Operations, Business Architecture team will drive key projects to help support the Channel sales expansion in key processes and systems areas touching CRM (Salesforce) and Quote to Order.  You will be the champion for our Channel Partners and the Equinix Channel Sales Organization and be the advocate for the unique needs of the Channel community.

As part of a collaborative team that focuses on Channel workstream, you will be responsible for and drive projects which will include discovery and identification of key projects with highest impact, creation of new processes to support new Channel business models, and improvement on existing process/systems within GTM(Go-to-Market) Quote to Cash and Sales Processes. If you excel in process and procedure improvements, work well in a collaborative environment and want an opportunity to lead change in a strategic area, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Be the domain expert to work cross functionally to define and implement changes that impact Channel sales end to end processes – focusing on Quoting and Ordering but also spanning across Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Partner Portal.
  • Become an advocate and subject matter expert on designing new end to end processes to support different Channel Models (1-tier, 2-tier, referral, etc.).
  • Drive project vision, goals, scope and define and document requirements, working cross functionality with Subject Matter Experts in Sales, Partners, Partner Program, Marketing, Finance, and Product.
  • Perform detailed analysis of the As-Is process and advocate recommendations for To-Be process improvement.
  • Utilize effective methods of process documentation including ownership of a documentation library, process mapping, communication plans, and training in the execution of all projects.
  • Backup recommendations via data utilizing Excel or analytics tools such as Tableau to discover insights and drive results representation.
  • Be accountable for driving recommendations through to implementation.
  • Ensure that IT Application solutions meet requirements and are well-designed for a growing business by conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitating the testing by the regional cross functional groups. 
  • Assess change management needs and work with the Sales Enablement team to create and deliver any training, communication required for the operational initiative.
  • Drive best practice sharing and continuous learning across the Global Sales Operations team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in a Business Process improvement/business analysis role with experience in end to end Sales Cycle and Quote to Order processes and systems. 
  • 4+ years experience in working with Channel Sales, Channel Sales Support teams and Partners and understanding the key differences of Channel Sales Motions such as Resale, Distribution, Referral motions
  • Deep knowledge/experience in Salesforce and in major Quoting/CPQ platform (Oracle CPQ preferred) and Ordering Platform
  • Strong background in driving projects of various sizes independently cross functionally- evaluating business architecture, establishing new business process models and providing process improvements. Must be well versed in Visio or other Process creation software (e.g. Miro, Lucidchart) and best practice process documentation techniques
  • Thrives in high growth, high visibility environment to contribute to the company’s strategic Channel initiative
  • Experience with Agile Methodology and software delivery framework (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Excellent decision-making ability and business sense
  • Good interpersonal skills for project updates
  • Background in technology sector a plus
  • Six Sigma Green belt preferred, blackbelt a plus
  • Bachelor's degree preferred. MBA is a plus

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $98K- $132K per year with 20% bonus target.
