Job Summary

This stellar opportunity involves thinking big and getting involved in solving complex business challenges across Data Center Build & Operate functions. You will partner directly with various Business Groups and IT teams to deliver high-impact Anaplan solution designs. In 2016, Equinix strategically implemented Anaplan within its Sales function. Since that original, successful implementation, the platform’s usage has expanded significantly. It is now a foundational tool utilized across HR, Finance, and Global Design and Construction functions. This widespread adoption has solidified Anaplan as a strategic Enterprise platform for Equinix. The organization is now looking forward to delivering its ambitious 2026 roadmap. This roadmap outlines key objectives specifically for Global Design & Construction operations. These crucial objectives include essential Anaplan Module Enhancements and vital Optimizations. Finally, the role requires leading complex Integrations to connect Anaplan seamlessly with various cross-functional applications.

Responsibilities

• Support a mature and complex Anaplan deployment, reporting changes, error resolution, and business stakeholder requests

• Drive multiple Anaplan use cases towards best-in-class standards, including optimizing model design, reducing model sparsity, and improving overall consistency

• Develop documentation covering model data flows, key update processes, and model rollovers to support the sustainability of the Equinix deployment

• Create large scale, high-impact technology solutions by collaborating with other architects/leads to develop the target state that is robust, flexible, scalable, secure, and that support enterprise strategic initiatives

• Focus on enabling capabilities for the right business outcomes, reduce complexity, increase organizational agility, and drive competitive advantage for Equinix 

• Use a data driven approach to solve complex and business critical problems, bridging the gap between business problems and technology solutions

• Design data integrations with ERP, SAAS and Analytics platforms

• Support Design & Construction related incidents timely manner with full documentation of the resolution. Log the technical support observations in ServiceNow

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience with Anaplan Model Building and Solutioning

• 5+ years of strong track record in architecting large scale enterprise applications, driving business value, and demonstrated leadership in Business Technology

• Strong understanding of concepts around security, integration middleware, software architecture, building reusable APIs, and data integrity

• Expert in Agile development practices: Scrum, DevOps, Design Thinking, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Iterative Development

• Hand’s-on and Deep knowledge on Anaplan current architecture, features, and future roadmap

• Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 3 or Level 2) is preferred

• Master’s and/or bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred
