Job Summary

As Technical Process Manager you’ll work with a highly motivated team to ensure the IBX Operations (International Business Exchange) are supported with every (engineering) related topic.

Part of your scope is to be the connecting link between the data centers and our partner AMSIX. You’ll  coordinate projects to implement standardization of global & local policies to optimize compliancy and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the interconnection between data centers: report & management capacity of physical traces between data centers and AMSIX;
  • Implementing global & local standardization: e.g. long term maintenance planning;
  • Maintaining & updating the data center information on available (rentable) space & technical details
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team on project related topics
  • Refine and implement the methods, procedures, tools and policies to ensure high-quality service is delivered to (internal) customers
  • Builds and develops relevant business relationships, critically thinks about departmental problems, and takes action on resolving these issues
  • Assist and supports the Manager Engineering Support with (improvement) projects

Skills and Experiences

  • Technical Knowledge
    • At least 7 years’ experience as a technical professional
    • Have a higher education or equivalent ability (Electrical, Mechanical or IT)
    • Demonstrated professionalism and leadership skills
    • Ability to effectively manage performance as well as set and achieve goals
    • Ability to build and enhance team productivity without a direct hierarchical position
    • Management experience is a pre
  • Communication
    • Excellent English & Dutch verbal and written communication skills is a must
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills – ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Customer Service
    • Strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service
  • Development
    • A desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge
  • Project Management
    • Ability to project manage, multitask and follow through
